I’m about to embark on my first ski trip, so that means what type of ski equipment do I need, what are the different types of skiing available, and what should beginners learn?

For beginners, it is recommended that you learn how to ski. It’s one of the easiest skis to learn and will help you build skiing skills and confidence. As you develop your skills, here are some other ski disciplines you can consider:
1. Freestyle skiing: Freestyle skiing is a more extreme skiing event, which includes air jumps, spins and rolls.
2. Cross-country skiing: the routes are diverse and difficult, and may slide over different terrains such as hillsides, cliffs, and forest trails
3. Alpine skiing: using skis, snowshoes, bindings and ski poles as the main equipment, from the mountain to the downhill, along the track set by the flag gate to slide down the racing sports
